Presentations about Multiple Intelligences - Round 3

Hi everyone! And welcome back to another entry of the Multiple Intelligences presentations馃榿

On Thursday we had the continuation of the presentations, it was another fun day and I participated in all of the activities and got some candy! Up next I will describe all three of the presentations we had on yesterday's class.

6. Intrapersonal Intelligence

They were all in light blue, it was a nice detail馃挋

The people with this type of intelligence are good at self reflection and they are aware of one's own strengths, weaknesses, feelings and emotions.
They are highly intuitive and they are independent since they have a better understaing of themselves, they know how to apply their learnings to daily activities and they know how to identify their emotions well.
Some activities to develop intrapersonal intelligence can be keeping a journal, story telling, writing an autobiography for the people that like to write and meditation. The benefits people can get from these activities are to understand how to work with oneself, have greater compassion, have personal growth and develop the ability to try new things and become a positive person.
And some of the notable professions are psychologists, social workers, authors, managers and entrepreneurs.

After the presentations was over it was time for the class activity, it was a very original and fun activity, we had to guess the emoji and then tell a personal experience of ours when we felt that emotion, I got the smiley face and talked about how happy I was when I got to go on a plane for the first time and visit another country for the first time!

I got this really pretty notebook as a prize for participating and I am definitely considering to start a journal!

7. Naturalist Intelligence

This was a nice presentation, I enjoyed the topic and how everyone was able to explain it.

This intelligence was the last one to be recognized and it was not considered an independent intelligence until 1995.

Naturalist intelligence is the ability to appreciate, categorize, classify, explain and connnect with the things of everyday life with nature and we start developing it since we are babies.
Some characteristics of the people that have this intelligence are that they are sensitive towards nature, they enjoy being in contact with nature, they like to take care of plants and animals and some of their hobbies might be watching TV programs from Discovery Channel or National Geographic.
This intelligence can be developed with simple things like going on a walk or hike, start a garden and trying to visit new places like rivers, lakes and mountains. People that are considered naturalist intelligence are biologists, florists, gardeners, explorers and veterinarians.

For the class activity we played What's In The Box and it was so fun! I had always wanted to try playing this game, here is a video of me trying to guess what's in the box:

8. Existential Intelligence

This was the last presentation and we wrapped up the topic with the boys.

They explained Existential Intelligence as the ability to understand and contemplate philosophical topics relating to mankind's existence and people with this type of intelligence are always trying to find specific answers to questions that don't have one.
Some characteristics of this type of peope are that they are interested in the origin of life and the meaning of death and they are also interested in spritual knowledge, practices and readings, they also respond rationally against difficult situations and they have a strong desire to help and save others, leaving egocentrism aside.

Unfortunately, I was not able to take any pictures or videos of the class activity since we all had to stand up and get into groups, we did some breathing exercises and my classmate Jonathan gave us some questions so that we could find an answer, but they were not just any questions, I had to answer the question "What is the meaning of life?" and I was not able to share my answer with my classmates due to time but I would like to share it here and say that there is no right meaning at all, it is subjective and we can all give the meaning that we want to give to life by doing something that can make us feel good and something that can help others feel good as well!

9. Interpersonal Intelligence

Sadly, there was no presentation for this intelligence but I provided some info about this intelligence on last week's entry if you want to look it up!

And this is how we finished our round of presentations and I have to say that I really enjoyed this topic and just doing presentations again since we had to do it online for so long, it is nice to be back and hear my classmates share interesting information and see all the presentations that they prepare.

Thank you so much for reading this entry and stay tuned for the next one next week, bye-bye!馃憢
